Terms of Service

The rules for using Wassup in a Minute AI, including what photos you may upload.

These terms apply when you use wassupinaminute.com ("Wassup in a Minute AI", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. Questions: support@wassupinaminute.com.

What this site is

An independent tool that helps you make a short AI video in the style of the "wassup in a minute" anime trend from one photo. It is an unofficial, fan-made AI video tool, not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Drake, Jhené Aiko, zbee, TikTok or the creators of Blue Lock. Names are used only to describe the trend.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old to use this site.

Photos you upload and content rules

Everything you upload or create must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short, you may only upload photos that:

  • are of you, or of an adult (18+) who has clearly agreed to you making a video of them, and are not of a celebrity or other public figure (you confirm this before every video);
  • do not show anyone under 18;
  • contain no nudity, sexual or sexually suggestive content;
  • contain no violence, gore, weapons used against people, self-harm or hateful content;
  • are not meant to harass, bully, impersonate, deceive or defame anyone, including public figures and politicians;
  • you have the right to use.

Uploads are checked automatically before anything is generated. We may block or delete content that breaks these rules, and suspend or close accounts that misuse the service; content involving minors leads to a permanent ban and a report to the authorities. You are responsible for what you upload and for how you share the videos you make.

Your videos

You keep whatever rights you have in your photos. You may use the videos you make for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as posting them on social media. Each video includes a short clip of the trend sound for that purpose only; the music and the trend's original artwork belong to their owners, and we don't offer the song for download.

AI models and output

  • Models we use. Videos are made with ByteDance’s Seedance 2.0 Mini video model, accessed through EvoLink, an AI model API provider: the model redraws our own original reference animation with the person in your photo as an anime character. Uploaded photos and finished videos are checked by SeeAPI, a content moderation service. We may switch to other models of similar quality; this page will say so.
  • AI-generated content. Videos are generated by AI. Results vary, may look unlike the person in the photo, and may contain mistakes. The providers’ own safety filters may block a generation; when that happens, your credits are returned.
  • Don’t mislead. Don’t present a generated video as real footage of a real event, and label it as AI-generated where the platform you post on asks you to.

Credits and payments

  • Each account gets one free 5-second try (one per account and one per network). It requires a verified email address, can be retried if the provider fails, and can’t be redone.
  • Full videos are paid for with credits from one-time packs; there is no subscription. The credits a video uses are shown before you generate it.
  • Credit packs are sold by Waffo.com Limited as merchant of record, which handles payment, tax and invoices.
  • Credits don't expire and can't be exchanged for cash or transferred.
  • If a video fails to generate, its credits are returned to your balance automatically.
  • Refunds: all purchases are final, including unused credits; see the Refund Policy. Credits from failed videos are returned automatically, billing errors are fixed on request, and your rights under consumer protection law are not affected.

We respect the rights of musicians, artists and other creators. If you own the rights to something used on this site, including the sound added to the videos, and want it removed, email support@wassupinaminute.com with:

  • your name and contact details, and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them;
  • what work you believe is infringed, and where it appears on this site (a link or description);
  • a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, and that the information in your notice is accurate.

We act on valid notices within 24 hours, for example by removing the sound or the content in question, and we may close accounts that repeatedly infringe.

The service is provided "as is"

We do our best to keep the site working, but we provide it "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content that users create.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and continuing to use the site means you accept the new terms.
